<h1>She started with $200.<br>She built an empire of elegance.</h1>

<p>In 2006, Eka left Indonesia and made Singapore her home — arriving with ambition, a sharp eye for beauty, and the quiet certainty that she had something to offer, even before she knew exactly what it was.</p>

<p>Five years later, she found her answer.</p>

<p>On <strong>28 March 2011</strong>, Eka made her very first post on Facebook — selling modest clothing from home with just <strong>$200 in her pocket.</strong> No shop. No team. No guarantee. Just a feeling, and the courage to act on it.</p>

<p>And then something unexpected happened: <strong>people loved it.</strong></p>

<p>One year in, she gathered her courage and booked her first pop-up booth at a local expo. The response from customers was overwhelming — beyond anything she had imagined. People came, connected, and came back.</p>

<p>Slowly, it paid off. In <strong>2012</strong>, Mozaic opened its first permanent shop at <strong>Golden Landmark</strong> — a milestone two full years in the making. Two years later, the brand had grown enough to move to <strong>Tanjong Katong Complex</strong>, where Mozaic continued to thrive until the mall closed for renovation in July 2023.</p>

<p>We then relocated to <strong>City Plaza</strong> — and that is where Mozaic continues to grow today.</p>

<h2>Why we focus on cultural fashion</h2>

<p>Batik is not just fabric. Kebaya is not just a blouse. These are living traditions — crafted by hand, passed through generations, woven with meaning. When you wear a Mozaic piece to Hari Raya, to a walimah, to a family portrait, or just to the office on a regular day — you are carrying your roots.</p>

<p>We design for the Singapore woman (and man, and child) who wants to honour that heritage without sacrificing style, comfort, or practicality. That's why every piece in our collection is made for Singapore's climate and designed to be worn — not just kept.</p>

<h2>What makes Mozaic different</h2>

<p>We source and curate directly — our kebaya designs are updated every season, with many colour options, sizes, and styles to choose from. Our collection brings together kebaya traditions from across Indonesia: Kebaya Sunda, Kebaya Jawa, Kebaya Bali, and contemporary everyday kebaya for modern wear. There is something here for every woman, every occasion, every chapter of life.</p>

<h2>Mozaic today</h2>

<p>What started from home has grown — over fourteen years — into one of Singapore's most trusted names in Indonesian cultural fashion: kebaya, batik, and family occasion wear for women, men, and children.</p>

<p>In August 2025, Mozaic opened its first Batam location, followed by a second in January 2026 — both destinations for shopping tourists who visit the island and want to bring home a piece of genuine kebaya and batik heritage. Our community now spans thousands of customers across Singapore, Malaysia, and beyond. And every season, we return with collections that honour tradition while speaking to the modern woman — and man — who wears it.</p>
